Why We Are Here

The Tri-County Roofing Association was formed in 1992 with the sincere purpose of advancing the professionalism of its' members. Association members are from Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County and Northern Los Angeles County. Monthly membership meetings are held in various locations to inform our members of the latest industry news and to get updates on local, state and federal regulations that effect our businesses.

Membership meetings over the past few years have also addressed personal issues such as finances, insurance, wills and trusts. Membership meetings also serve as a time to relax, catch up on friendships, get to know new members and to continue the camaraderie that has been developed over the years.

As part of the Tri-County Roofing Association, members can take advantage of the Association's Legal Counsel, Ray Myer of Myer & Fock in Santa Barbara, a definite plus in California's construction climate.

Special Events MEETINGS & NOTES

The Association tries to set aside a few monthly meetings every year for issues other than business. In the Fall, members can look forward to an Association sponsored family outing at Magic Mountain. Other activities have included family picnics at the beach and in the parks. There have been some very successful fishing trips out of Ventura and Morro Bay. In the Spring we have an annual golf tournament for the golfers among us. So as you can see, there are plenty of activities for everyone. Come join us !

The Association also commits to an annual community service project. Over the years the Association members have roofed and reroofed many buildings such as the Santa Barbara Boys & Girls Club, Ventura Friends of the Library building, Washington School in Ventura, YMCA in Simi Valley, El Rio Community Center, the Oxnard Police PAL facility, the Tenderlife Home in Ventura and many Habitat for Humanity Projects to name just a few. These projects are completed with materials and labor wholly donated by member firms.

The 8th Annual TCRA Golf Tournament is set for Thursday, the 19th of July and there is still time for late sign-ups. The event will be held at Montecito Country Club - Shot-gun start at 1 PM.
